Eid al-Fitr is a celebration when people wear new dresses. In the morning, we go to the mosque for the Eid prayer. Then, we go to my grandfather’s house. There, my relatives gather to drink Arabic coffee, eat desserts and a big meal of meat and diverse foods. On the next day, there is a big celebration at night in a different place. Eid al-Fitr is the time of year when people give money to children, teenagers and adults. The last day is the third day. All of the days are almost similar. Eid al-Fitr is an old holiday. It comes after Ramadan. When Eid al-Fitr comes the poor are so happy to get alms.
